Ok so since we are already on such a borderline page, i want to talk a little about hentai. Just a little rant i have.
First off i feel its rude for people to just dismiss it as disgusting or gross just because the cant understand it or that its just what the general public thinks. And by that HE, has an obligation to reject this as he wouldn't want to be ostracized.
Conversely, it is fair to say that not all hentai animations are equal. They range from the innocent vanilla to the casual loose sex but still within consent. To the beginning of NTR stuff with cheating involved. To NTR where the woman in raped in front of her man. To all sorts of even more extreme fetishes.
I wont be a hypocrite and say that the kind of hentai i like is acceptable and the kind of hentai that i dislike is a SIN. As you can see from the short incomplete list i have above, there was a progression of the intensity of the films. One can clearly see that hentai is an aquired taste. Probably from the very beginning, it was just ecchi anime that led to this. People couldnt get enough of it and wanted more. When they got more, and got used to it, they wanted something more extreme. Something more fresh that would once again get their hearts pumping. And so the race to dig deeper and deeper started.
A simple answer to whether or not hentai is moraly acceptable or not, would be a big fat NO. However, if you want to look at it with an open mind, technically anyone has the right to do whatever they want right? Yes. But no. Because in this case, i strongly feel that over exposure to the extreme side of hentai can trigger some inate crossover of emotions. And if the cross was to be with a voilent side, it could lead to a crime.
What i am saying might sound a little far fetched, but hear me out. Because of the over exposure, one's sensitivity to such things starts to dull. And so, in his mind, these acts would begin to fall within the acceptable range. Take things a step furthur, he will assume that the world thinks that such acts are acceptable.
Ok. Lets take a step back from the worst case scenario. Even if you dont turn into a criminal, the disregard for a woman will still be instilled in you if you keep indulging in films of those kind.
The virdict would be that one must always evaluate oneself. To see if he is still of a moral mind. I myself has many a time crossed the borders to see what it is like on the side of relentless imorality. What i got was a torrent of brilliantly animated next level sex positions and angles that simply was not available in their more passive counterparts. BUT, when i think about the context, it is nothing short of a rage inducing enigma. I direct this rage into self discipline where i imaging how helpless and hopeless it would feel if i was the one in the situation. So i head to the gym and vent out all the distortion. You can only imagine im pretty well built by now. This is my way of dealing with this so that my hate for it actually stays the same so i remain relatively unchanged by this. Also a good way of dealing with it is to simply avoid any talking scenes as a whole. Films without subtitles would help the most. Of course a few words would still be recognisable but if you put your effort into NOT finding out about the story, you should be fine.
Of course at the end of the day, who am i to say what you can or cant do? I just strongly urge you good folks of the internet to make good decisions of what you feed your brains with. As someone who has seen the far ends of the whole spectrum, i can only tell you that there are somethings you wish did not come from a human being's imagination. You will know that evil knows no bounds.
